Youth Groups

Young Adult Brunch

Those beyond high school have brunch at Pastor Sandy Tice’s home on the first Sunday of the month after church.  Periodic retreats, leadership development, service opportunities, and lots of time to just enjoy together the work of God in the lives of young adults.   One of the service opportunities within Young Adult Brunch is to be part of the leadership team of the younger Fellowship of the Carpenter youth group.

Fellowship of the Carpenter

For 6th grade through high school, FOC generally meets on the Sundays other than first Sundays at church after worship (12 noon-2:00 pm) for lunch, study, and fun.  FOC also takes trips, performs service projects, and attends regional and national youth gatherings.  Check the calendar online, in the bulletin, or in the newsletter for schedule variations.

Faith Formation

Young people are encouraged to participate in education within the community and in larger groups appropriate to their age, interests, and individual spiritual development.  Some will engage in Confirmation, Triennium, or Tapestry.  Youth have opportunities through the wider church to participate in Young Adult Volunteers, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, and Presbyterian Women.
