FAQ

We’re glad you’ve found our website. There is much information throughout the site describing who we are as a church community, our worship style, youth programs, outreach opportunities, and more. Please explore. Meanwhile, we hope the information on this page is helpful should you decide to come visit us on a Sunday morning.

Where do we go?
The sanctuary and chapel face one another at the front of the property. The fellowship hall and classrooms are at the back. The nursery is in the wing of classrooms between the fellowship hall and chapel.

What about the main service?
We welcome everyone into our 10:30 a.m. worship service in the sanctuary. We believe older children can take full part in worship and have opportunities for them to serve in various capacities as well as join in with the communal acts of worship. We hope our younger children will be where they and you are most comfortable, whether that is with you in the service or being cared for elsewhere while you worship. Children preschool age and younger may be taken to the nursery (Room 2) before the service begins or at any time. Children from Pre-K through 6th grade are always welcomed into our worship service. On “regular” Sundays, they are invited to  Room 12 for our KidSpace program after the “Time with the Children.” On Communion Sundays and feast days, there will be no KidSpace and school age children are encouraged to remain in worship.

Is there coffee?
After the worship service, come join us for coffee, tea, lemonade, and donuts in the Fellowship Hall.

Do you have classes for my kids?
We have a church education class, called KidSpace, for children from Pre-K-6th grade during the second half of the worship service on most Sundays. Youth (grades 6-12) meet twice a month after worship for lunch, fellowship, and Bible study. There is an adult Bible Study class at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday. (Children’s Nurture and Youth Nurture).

What if I can’t find these classes?
Room 11 is the Youth Room. KidSpace takes place in Room 12.  The adult Bible Study is in Room 10. Current information can be found on the nurture section of the website, in the newsletter, and in the weekly announcements. You can also usually find people in the Fellowship Hall drinking coffee and visiting who can answer questions.

How do people dress?
You will see people in everything from shorts to colorful sport coats; from jeans to skirts and dresses. Come as you are comfortable.
